Any jokes about “surge pricing” are not relative, respectful, or even slightly humorous to the events of the Paris attacks. They have all been dismissed and will continue to be.

Please reconsider the messages you wish to convey, and take into account the weight of today’s tragedy and the horror of what has occurred. Let’s just enjoy those acts of compassionate camaraderie by the people of Paris, of France, and of the world.

I posted it here because it is people who are knowledgeable about the Taxi strikes in Paris and the controversy over Uber*. Some names I recognize.

Many regulars post and read Oppo - I’m not generalizing the Oppo community, just reaching out to those who need straightening out.

I’m loving the massive wave of support, and the new French Oppo logo. I can’t believe what happened today.
